As a founding member of WISE, I partnered with ur two co-founders to establish our vision and brand values. A brand representing 1000+ female student entrepreneurs
Northeastern University is known for their entrepreneurship programs such as it’s student start-up accelerator. As a founding team, we identified that female representation within our entrepreneurial ecosystem was limited with 3 in 10 students being female entrepreneurs.
The reason? Female students felt intimidated by the majority male dominated organizations, and often lacked the confidence and support to work on a business idea.
We created WISE with the goal of increasing female representation and participation within our entrepreneurial ecosystem. WISE offers workshops, coaching sessions, and mentorship programs to increase the confidence of young women.
As the founding designer, I led our team through multiple workshops to establish our brand values and long-term vision of the organization.
I interviewed female students around the university to understand how we can brand our organization to encourage more female representation within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The logomark and brand guidelines acted as our symbol of strength and succession as we represented female student entrepreneurs.
